MRS BUFFET CATERING

We've been going to Ilbay's since it opened.  With the exception of one bad Sunday lunch, the food has always been lovely.  It's well presented, plentiful and fresh.  Over the years we have tried the chicken and lamb shish, the adana, lamb cutlets, lamb ribs, and the falafels.  The starters are our favourites and the warm Turkish bread is beautiful and perfect for dipping in the patlican ezme, cacik and the humus!  Of course, all washed down with a cold glass of Efes... lovely.

If you have any room, try the desserts!  the revani and baklava are exceptional.

If there's a downside, it's upstairs and they are quite steep with dazzling lights - and it always seems quiet when we go, not much atmosphere or staff interaction - other than to take your order and bring your drinks/food.  I feel it could be more warming and inviting.  However, the Turkish food is lovely and value for money too.
