MRS BUFFET CATERING

I had been looking forward to eating here since it opened.  It's very sought after, and as it's quite small (22 covers) and can be hard to get booked in!  We managed to get a table for 2, for the tapas menu and were not disappointed.

From entering the restaurant, we were welcomed by the lovely friendly staff.  Shown to our table and didn't wait long to order our drinks.  The restaurant has a lovely feel about it, yes it's small - but you feel comfortable and the background music doesn't drowned out your conversation.

The tapas menu is really good value for money.  With each person choosing 4 tapas, 2 side dishes and a drink for £24.95, there was also aioli and bread brought to the table whilst we waited for our tapas being prepared.  I ordered a glass of the house red, which was lovely - smooth, with hints of plums.

For my 4 tapas dishes I chose black pudding bhaji, king prawns, chicken skewer and padron peppers.  With sides of patatas bravas and rosemary salt chips (see photos below).  We were given free truffle & parmesan hash browns and I also tried the mozzarella & tomato salad and the paprika & garlic hummus and chips - which my lunch date ordered!

All dishes beautifully presented, all served together and so colourful!  I was spoilt for choice and definately not disappointed!  We didn't have room for dessert, sadly - but we have booked again so hopefully will try dessert next time!

Fabulous food and experience!

Cheers!
